Review Boeing RFID Webinar -- Sponsored by Zebra -- for Free
On Nov. 16, Zebra sponsored a webinar conducted by Xtalks entitled “Boeing and RFID: Beyond the Mandates.” The speaker for the event was Steve Georgevitch, Supply Chain Management, Boeing Integrated Defense Systems.
The Web presentation discussed Boeing’s approach to the DoD mandate and how it is supporting the Defense Department’s strategy, how the technology is being applied within Boeing today, and the direction Boeing is taking with their supply chain partners. The presentation also discussed how Boeing is running pilots within their supply base to understand the implications this technology will have on small businesses.
Zebra’s RFID team followed the main presentation with an interactive workshop, joined by co-sponsor Symbol Technologies. To view the recorded event for free, go to http://www.xtalks.com/boeing.ashx. |

ZebraLink Solutions Named Editor’s Pick of the Week by Supply Chain Systems Magazine
The editors of Supply Chain Systems Magazine chose Zebra’s ZebraLink Solutions as their “Pick of the Week” for the week of Nov. 15 because they thought this “set of tools provided a clever solution for any manager who needs to diagnose, maintain, and control a slew of label printers located throughout your enterprise.”
The ZebraLink Solutions suite of networking, software, and firmware products brings out the full value of Zebra printers by expanding the power of their existing, built-in features and allowing you to more easily integrate and more effectively use your Zebra printer.
We recently introduced three new ZebraLink Solutions: ZebraNet™ Bridge Enterprise printer management software, ZebraDesigner™ Pro label design software, and APL™ Alternative Programming Language firmware that allows certain Zebra printers to recognize and print label formats developed for other-brand bar code printers.
